Getting around

HOW TO GET TO THE ISLAND AND HOUSE
There are 2 ferry companies that run from Pine Island to North Captiva every 1.5-2 hours. At the marina, you can leave your vehicle there. The boat crew will load your luggage and groceries (prestocking service available) onto the ferry (5 minute shuttle to ferry if taking Island Club) and you will be on your way for a wonderful 20 minute trip to the island.

Upon arrival on island, our conceirge service will greet you, issue golf cart/s and bring you and your luggage to your new beach house. They will be happy to give you a quick tour before taking you to the house if this is your first time on North Captiva. The team will also help you get you and your things to the ferry for departure.

House Rules

Renters agree to provide the names and ages of all persons who will occupy property during rental period. No additional persons are allowed to reside in the home without owners approval.

GOLF CART USE/ABUSE: One Golf Cart is included drivers must have a valid driver’s license. A second golf cart may be rented from owner or golf cart rental shop on island.

ELEVATOR:
Elevator is only accessible if there is a handicapped person in your party. Please let us know after booking if access will be required otherwise it is to remain locked up and access is forbidden.

FISHING:
Please be mindful of Florida’s fishing laws and regulations
A fish cleaning station is attached to the dock along with a hose- NO THROWING FISH CARCASSES INTO THE BAY

Tenant agrees that air conditioning shall not be set below 71 degrees and heat shall not be set above 78 degrees, and that the fan setting shall be "Auto". Doors and windows must be closed when either heat or air conditioning is in operation.

MAINTENANCE: The team will make a good-faith effort to address any issues ASAP. Given we are located on an island only accessible by boat, repairs may take longer to address.

Internet/TV reception may not always be available even though Starlink is highly reliable. Failure of reception is typically from loss of signal due to an atmospheric disturbance. This situation should be a short-term inconvenience only.

Notes

A ferry is required to reach the island and can be reserved after your booking is completed. There is also private water taxi option and of course private boat rental, please ask. Boat dockage is available for rent on the island for a separate charge. No overnight docking at property.

The Club provides our guests VIP services including luggage pickup and drop off, and a grocery stocking service for a nominal fee.

Groceries can be ordered ahead of time and packed for the boat at the local supermarket. Details will be provided after booking. There is only a small convenience store on the island but there are 4 restaurants. A conventional coffee pot and keurig machine is equipped in the home (coffee not included)

For your safety and ours, Latitude Adjustment is equipped with outdoor security cameras.
